The trigger system is an enhancement to the world-class class Timney Alpha Competition Trigger. The standard Timney trigger has a crisp, clean break at approximately 3.0lb using standard connectors and an OEM spring set. Pre-Travel is adjustable on the Timney Alpha trigger shoe. Reset is long and sluggish and there is a lot of Over-Travel in the system. The striker tends to drag over the trigger bar tab which can result in light trikes due to the loss of momentum.
The Timney Alpha Enhancement Service eliminates all inefficiencies in the system along with eliminating striker drag. It creates a short Reset and has zero Over-Travel in the system. Trigger pull weight ranges from 3.0lb – 3.5lb depending on the shooters preference.

Modifications:
The trigger bar tab is grooved to eliminate any striker drag. The trigger housing has several proprietary enhancements to eliminate Over-Travel, and tune Reset. Different connectors can be used depending on the desired outcome. The firing pin safety plunger is polished for smoother disengagement action. The striker is polished with a specific focus on the lug face surface for a smoother break. Springs are left as stock due to the minimal impact it has on the system when changing out the spring kit.
